Changsha Day 3 cont.....
Hi all,
Pretty quiet afternoon - we all had a nap, and after we woke up we went to the local store for water and sprite - and ice cream! It was actually pretty good.
We had a bit of a rough afternoon - Caitlin was a cranky pants. But things have straightened out, possibly because the antibiotics and tylenol are doing the trick.
We opted out of the dinner excursion - last night's dinner was not all that great, and while the restaurant downstairs is quite often the same food, at least there are some western options. Dad felt that it would be a good idea to stay back, and he was right!
Hopefully another good night - kind of tired this evening. Here is a picture of our sleeping angel, Daddy - hold it close to your heart until we come home to you!

What a little ray of sunshine Marie! She's the cutest baby I've ever seen and you're right, she does look somewhat like you guys!! It's amazing to know that you've got her now, she's yours and your her Mom. Good luck out there, we miss you and can't wait until you get home so we can meet Kaitlin in person.

at first its in Chinese but click the English tab and in the top left hand corner is a search box and if you type in "Changsha" there is about 20 or so Newspaper articles about Changsha and current news as to where are little Caitlin is from.

Hi Marie and Uncle Don and Caitlin! Just heard all the updates of July...we've been in Nova Scotia for 2 weeks, home this weekend. Caitlin is a real beauty and looks to be of royal heritage...Chairman Mao perhaps? hee hee! So glad all is going well there and what a surprise to hear and see you there Uncle Don! How wonderful for you Marie! I know you will be the best mother a girl could ask for...except for your mother of course, my favourite...Aunt Joan!
